Job summary

Gunvor Group in Houston seeks a Senior Power Business Analyst to join a large IT program for expanding trading systems. You will gather requirements, run workshops, and model Power desk activities across OATI platforms with traders, IT, and vendors.

Lead a team, provide 2nd-level support, and ensure high customer satisfaction while delivering functional specs and integration work with back-end developers. Fluency in English is required, with strong communication skills in a multicultural

Qualifications

Formal education in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with OATI applications, especially webTrader.
8+ years hands-on experience in an ETRM/CTRM environment as BA or application support.
Strong knowledge of Power products and North American derivatives.
Strong SQL and data reporting capabilities.
Experience with API/FIX and market data feeds (ICE, CME).
Excellent customer service across local and global users.
Proven leadership and team collaboration in high-pressure settings.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Good interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements across the group locations and departments.
Run workshops with Business and IT stakeholders.
Model new Power desk activities in OATI (webTrader, webCTRM) together with traders and IT teams.
Enhance and integrate with related systems (exchange, pricer).
Write and maintain functional specifications (DevOps).
Collaborate with developers on integration items, testing and support.
Report progress to IT BM and manage backlog prioritization.
Document technical architecture and user guides; handover to Support.
Train 1st and 2nd level support for modules managed by the BA.
