Job summary

Gunvor Group is seeking a Middle Officer in Houston to monitor daily trading Position & PnL, reconcile pricing with Ops, and validate exposures in the in-house ETRM system. The role supports back-office functions and coordinates intercompany deals.

The candidate should have 1–5 years in Middle Office within energy trading, strong Excel and IT skills, and a University degree. This full-time role requires US work eligibility and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• One to five years’ experience in Middle Office in a commodity trading environment.
• Trading system experience and programming/SQL/IT skills are an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Strong business analysis capabilities.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• University degree.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of the trading Position & PnL.
• Daily pricing exposure reconciliation with trading & Ops.
• Validate position and PnL in a timely manner.
• Report position and PnL daily to management.
• Review and maintain information reliability in the in-house ETRM system.
• Build & monitor in-house forward curves in ETRM and ensure front-to-back consistency.
