Job summary

Aggreko in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Senior Technician - Power for the South Valley data center. You will service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products in shops and at customer sites, supporting natural gas solutions.

Your role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, site setups, and mentoring junior technicians, with emphasis on safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in a dynamic, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive maintenance and execute moderate repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations, test and handle the repairs on your own or with another technician(s).
• Lead moderate job site setups and mentor lower-level Technicians.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Be a well-rounded tech in multiple products; multi-skilled.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and obtain & maintain necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as dictated by federal, state and/or local ordinances.
• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
