Job summary
Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Technician 1 – Multiskilled based in Benicia, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generation and temperature control equipment while supporting customers in the area.
Travel locally in a company vehicle and occasional overnight trips are involved. You are mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in power generation, HVAC, chillers, or related electrical systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.
- Comfortable working in a field-service environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on power generators, diesel and natural gas engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, chillers, and related temperature control equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at customer locations and at the service center, working independently or with other technicians.
- Read and understand schematics and use your mechanical and electrical knowledge to safely troubleshoot equipment and support customer needs.
- Support equipment maintenance, readiness, and turnaround activities at the Benicia service center when not at customer locations.
