Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electric Power Systems preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years related experience in planning, design, and operations for distribution facilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify distribution system problems; lead planning studies and choose optimal solutions.
• Develop 2–5 year and 5+ year distribution plans incl. load relief and DER integration.
• Build, maintain, and validate distribution models with power system simulators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop long-range planning criteria.
• Prepare contingency studies for distribution networks (N-1, N-2).
• Prepare distribution-related documentation and testimony for regulatory filings.
