Job summary
Hitachi Energy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Power Lead Engineer to guide the full lifecycle of power system design, engineering, testing, and commissioning. You will develop specifications, schematics, and layouts for distribution, generation, and control systems, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred.
- 8+ years in power systems engineering with 3+ years in a lead role.
- Experience designing and implementing power distribution, generation, and control systems.
- Proficiency with NEC, IEEE, IEC codes and PLC/SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of power system design, engineering, testing, and commissioning.
- Develop specifications, schematics, and layouts for power distribution, generation, and control systems.
- Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective relay coordination studies.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.
- Ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement.
