Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Lead Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC, to drive technical execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems and renewable integration. You will guide design, engineering, and delivery from concept to commissioning, shaping SCADA configurations and control system narratives for energy applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years in power systems, energy storage, or power electronics.
Master’s degree with 3+ years in relevant field is acceptable.
Experience with SCADA systems and automation protocols (Modbus, DNP).
Strong technical aptitude in electrical engineering and industrial software.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of BESS and renewable energy projects alongside project management.
Review and approve design deliverables and project documentation.
