Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) seeks an experienced electrical engineer to provide development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services for large power projects in the US and internationally.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) with 10+ years in the electric power industry, including medium voltage design for thermal power facilities. Strong writing skills are essential, and travel is required.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering from ABET ACC-approved program.
• 10+ years in electric power industry.
• Experience in detailed design of medium voltage electrical systems for thermal power projects.
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide development support, conceptual design and owner’s engineer services for clients.
• Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.
• Support project economics, cost analyses, risk assessments and contract development.
• Engineering design reviews and due diligence; conceptual design for thermal power projects.
