Job summary

PROPWR seeks a Principal Engineer to lead its Power Generation Division, driving technical excellence, reliability, and strategic direction for power systems, microgrids, and related equipment. This role focuses on leadership, governance, and technical authority across the full system lifecycle.

You will mentor the engineering team, establish scalable processes, and collaborate with executive leadership to deliver safe, reliable, and profitable outcomes while advancing technology and maintenance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
15+ years in power generation, electrical systems, microgrids, or industrial power applications.
5+ years of engineering leadership managing teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Establish and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and governance.
Own the technical direction of PROPWR's full system including generators, switchgear, transformers, and controls.
Serve as SME across medium- and low-voltage systems, protection and control, and system integration.
Oversee SAT, commissioning, and performance validation; review control logic and interconnection methods.
