Power Technology Associates, Inc. is seeking Senior to Principal Power Systems Engineers to lead advanced electrification, microgrids, and data center power studies. You will guide engineering analyses, support business development, and collaborate with global teams on next-generation power systems.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of power system simulations for utility/renewable/data center applications and experience with inverter controls and grid-forming technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems/Electronics).
• 6+ years executing power system simulations for utility, renewable, or data center applications.
• Experience modeling grid-forming/grid-following inverters and medium-voltage distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical analyses: Load Flow, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, EMT, Arc Flash, Grounding.
• Model complex microgrids in grid-connected, islanded, and black-start modes; integrate storage and backup generation.
• Serve as technical lead on customer projects and support proposals and presentations.
