Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer focused on spacecraft power systems.

You will lead design, analysis, and performance of power subsystems, driving architecture choices from solar arrays to distribution, and ensuring reliability for space missions. The role requires leading PDR/CDR reviews, modeling power budgets, and collaborating across avionics, systems, and software teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in spacecraft or high-reliability electrical power systems design.
  • Strong background in solar arrays, battery tech, power distribution, and regulation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of spacecraft electrical power systems (solar arrays, batteries, PDUs, protection).
  • Own power architecture trades balancing performance, mass, thermal, radiation tolerance, cost, and schedule.
