Jobgether SRL is seeking a Power Systems Engineer III for a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. The role focuses on utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects, leading complex studies and applying engineering judgment to assess challenges, risks, and design trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in power systems analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of power systems analysis software (ETAP, CDEGS, CYMCAP, PSS/E, PSLF).
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and transmission systems.
• Experience with solar PV or battery energy storage systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple power system studies including protection, short circuit, load flow, and power quality analyses.
• Design electrical collection systems and sizing.
• Develop equipment specifications for renewable energy technologies.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations explaining studies and recommendations.
• Mentor staff engineers and guide less-experienced team members.
