Job summary
Dart Container seeks a Staff Power Systems Engineer to lead electrical power distribution and facility infrastructure across our manufacturing footprint. You will shape reliability strategies, drive modernization, and set engineering standards for critical electrical systems.
The role requires deep expertise in power distribution, arc flash, protection coordination, and load-flow studies, with a proven history of guiding large-scale projects from concept to startup. Travel is possible as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s in electrical engineering with power systems emphasis or equivalent leadership experience.
- Extensive experience designing and leading power distribution and facility infra projects.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex electrical infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning.
- Develop roadmaps, modernization strategies, and capital improvement plans.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, testing, and commissioning criteria.
- Review major electrical designs and equipment applications for compliance and reliability.
- Mentor engineers and staff while driving best practices in safety and performance.
- Coordinate with utilities on reliability, capacity planning, and interconnection.
