Addison Group is seeking an experienced Senior Power Engineer to support design, analysis, and implementation of medium- to high-voltage electrical power systems for large-scale projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across utilities, energy, substations, and industrial infrastructure.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, extensive experience with load flow, faults, and protection coordination, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; candidates nearing licensure may be considered.
• Significant experience designing and analyzing electrical power systems.
• Strong knowledge of medium- to high-voltage power distribution systems.
• Experience performing load flow studies, fault analysis, and protection coordination.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar design software.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop medium- to high-voltage electrical power distribution systems for industrial and infrastructure applications.
• Perform power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, and protection coordination.
• Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, system layouts, and supporting engineering documentation.
• Evaluate equipment configurations and protective devices to ensure reliability and safety.
• Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar software to produce drawings and deliverables.
• Support the development and implementation of electrical system protection strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and construction teams throughout design and implementation.
• Review designs for compliance with codes, safety regulations, and standards.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
