Job summary

Godshall & Godshall Personnel Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for industrial projects from 120V to 15kV.

You will mentor designers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 10+ years in industrial power systems; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on industrial power systems.
• Strong experience designing AC power systems in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• PE license preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with experience coordinating teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of industrial electrical power systems from 120V to 15kV.
• Perform engineering calculations including short circuit studies and voltage drop analysis.
• Develop and review one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel schedules.
• Prepare equipment specifications for switchgear, transformers, and MCCs.
• Ensure NEC compliance and adherence to client specifications.
• Provide technical leadership to designers and junior engineers.
• Support field activities: site visits, installation verification, and commissioning.
• Coordinate project progress with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
