engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks an experienced electrical design engineer to design systems for power, industrial facilities and HV substations. You will prepare drawings, specifications, and system studies while supporting scoping, estimating, and cost control.

Mid- to senior-level candidates with 6–20 years of experience, NEC/IEEE knowledge, and a U.S. PE license or NCEES record are preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required; strong design background in power, industrial, HV substations.
• 6–9 years for mid-level, 10–20 years for senior candidates.
• Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEEE standards; US PE license or NCEES record.
• Experience with power-system software and leadership/communication skills.
• Ability to support project scoping, estimating, cost and schedule control

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for power, industrial, and HV substation projects.
• Prepare system studies, equipment specifications, layouts, and drawings.
• Support field construction, commissioning, and vendor acceptance testing.
• Assist in scoping, estimating, and project cost control.
• Provide leadership and effective communication across teams.
