Zusammenfassung

Mesa Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own end-to-end electrical design for industrial power systems, paralleling switchgear, and microgrid architectures. You will lead system modeling, protection coordination, and control integration for high-reliability power systems deployed nationwide.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and support grid-interconnection studies, regulatory compliance, and field deployments.

Qualifikationen

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Graduate Degree in electrical and power engineering from an accredited university.
• 5 years of experience directly related to electrical and power engineering or Power PE.
• 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on utility-scale or industrial power systems.
• 4 years of experience with SCADA systems and integration of protective relays, PLCs, and communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus).
• Proficiency with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, CYME, PSCAD.

Aufgaben

• Protection Coordination & System Modeling: Lead advanced power system studies including short-circuit analysis, arc flash mitigation, load flow, and protective relay coordination using ETAP or SKM.
• Medium & Low-Voltage System Design: Design complex low- and medium-voltage distribution systems and paralleling switchgear assemblies.
• Control Systems Integration: Develop and integrate advanced control architectures from generator control systems to site-level PLC logic and monitoring.
• Grid-Interconnection & Utility Interface: Coordinate studies for grid-interconnection and ensure seamless synchronization with utility networks.
• Regulatory & Code Compliance: Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and UL requirements across equipment manufacturing and site deployments.
• Technical Project Leadership: Manage technical workstreams across engineering, production, and field teams to keep projects moving.
