Job summary

Mesa Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to act as the core technical authority for industrial power generation projects. You will own end-to-end electrical design integrity, short-circuit protection coordination, and control architectures for high-reliability systems deployed nationwide.

Responsibilities include leading system modeling, performing power studies, supervising LV/MV design, and coordinating with utilities and regulatory bodies to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of electrical/power engineering or Power PE.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and protection coordination.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and UL standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced power system studies including short-circuit analysis and arc flash mitigation.
• Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution and paralleling switchgear.
• Oversee development of advanced control architectures and PLC logic.
• Coordinate grid-interconnection studies with utilities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes across equipment and sites.
• Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and field staff.
• Conduct site visits for commissioning and troubleshooting.
