Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to model and analyze utility-scale, industrial, renewable, microgrid, and data center power systems. You will lead studies, validate models, and collaborate with regional/global teams on advanced electrification solutions.

The role focuses on system studies, microgrid integration, and technical leadership to deliver grid modernization and BESS projects. Strong in inverters and HV/ MV concepts is required.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems or Power Electronics.
• 6+ years of industrial experience in power system studies and simulation for utility/industrial/renewable/data center.
• Experience modeling grid-forming and grid-following inverters.
• Knowledge of converter controls and protection systems.
• Experience with data center electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI and hyperscale data center electrical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead detailed electrical system analyses: Load Flow, voltage profile, protection coordination.
• Develop microgrid/system models for complex projects (grid-connected or islanded).
• Support grid interconnection studies and compliance with codes/standards.
• Provide technical SME guidance to customers and internal teams.
