Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando seeks an experienced electrical engineer to provide subject matter expertise on the operating fleet of large utility generators, with emphasis on grid interaction and SynCon fleet maturation, representing Siemens Energy in IEEE sub-committees.

You will deliver direct technical support, document repair methods, and contribute to strategic initiatives, mentoring junior staff while collaborating with customers and industry peers to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the power generation industry.
• Experience with grid interaction analysis and fleet operations support.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for the operating fleet of large utility generators.
• Lead root cause investigations for outages and operational issues.
• Develop and document repair methods and engineering solutions.
• Represent Siemens Energy in IEEE Generator sub-committees and mentor juniors.
