You will troubleshoot outages, lead root-cause studies, and guide maintenance decisions.

The role includes designing repair methods, documenting product definitions, and participating in IEEE subcommittees to shape industry standards while mentoring junior engineers for fleet reliability

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's with extensive experience considered.
• Demonstrated experience with grid interaction analysis, fleet operations support, and root cause investigations.
• 2+ years in power generation, design/analysis/maintenance of large turbogenerators and synchronous condensers.
• Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design Process, 3D Modeling.
• Troubleshooting, analytical skills, investigation, DFMEA.
• Influencing skills, product lifecycle management, workflow management, quality assurance.
• Legally authorized for employment in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support and troubleshooting for the operating fleet.
• Develop and document engineering solutions for repairs and maintenance.
• Represent Siemens Energy in IEEE Generator sub-committees and industry standards; mentor junior engineers.
