Qualifications

  • Experience applying computational methods to analyze, plan, and operate electrical power systems.
  • Experience developing and executing power system simulations and analyses.
  • Familiarity with power system modeling tools like EMTP-RV, PowerWorld, PSS/E, OpenDSS, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Perform power system analysis (time-domain and frequency-domain) using simulation tools.
  • Design, implement, and validate power system simulation models and analytical methods.
  • Support development of new research capabilities and technical solutions for resilience and electromagnetic threats.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and subject matter experts on projects.
  • Assist in execution of medium-sized research projects, including schedule/budget tracking.
