Job summary

EPRI is seeking a Technical Leader I - EMF Engineer to advance research on electric and magnetic fields and RF exposure related to power systems. You will lead analyses, model development, testing, and tool validation while coordinating with utilities, universities, and laboratories to deliver practical guidance and research products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Electromagnetics, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in electric power engineering, electromagnetics, EMF engineering, or high-voltage engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical research and analysis involving EMF and RF exposure related to electric power systems.
Perform EMF calculations, modeling, measurements, and data analysis.
Support development and validation of EMF/RF assessment tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with utilities, universities, labs, and industry partners on projects.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and conference papers.
Communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute to proposal development.
