Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Power Consultant II to join our Advisory and Engineering Services Organization. You will work with customers and project teams to develop and deliver solutions aligning with end users' goals.

As the technical advisor, you will assess customer needs, deliver solutions within scope, budget, and schedule, and lead engineering work to ensure on-time delivery. Remote or hybrid work and 30–50% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in power systems or automation.
• Experience programming, startup/commissioning and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs and relays.
• Experience modifying wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, one-lines and other standard electrical drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using protective relays, PLC, and HMI systems.
• Interpret and modify schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot power system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and execute engineering work for PCA projects.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Develop technical reports, documentation, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers.
