Golden Valley Electric Association is seeking an Accountant III – Power Supply in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will provide accounting and financial analysis support for the Power Supply Division, including budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting, project accounting, inventory, and financial reporting.

• Strong accounting background with financial analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and financial analysis support for Power Supply operations, including budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting, project accounting, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with plant managers and accounting leadership to analyze operating costs, maintain accurate records, support capital projects, strengthen internal controls, and improve reporting processes.
• Work with large datasets and financial systems to deliver meaningful financial information for decision-making.
• Assist audits and monitor internal controls to ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
