Job summary

Primoris Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates for complex high voltage construction projects. You will lead estimates using B2W, analyze drawings and RFPs, and collaborate with subcontractors and schedulers to align with milestones and budgets.

Candidates should bring 5+ years of EPC estimating experience and strong proficiency with B2W, On-Screen Take-off, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint. Remote-friendly role with nationwide collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in power delivery or related construction sectors (EPC).
• Proficiency with B2W Estimating software (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods for air-insulated substations.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint; ability to mentor junior estimators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed cost estimates using B2W software and Item Price + WBS.
• Analyze scope, drawings, specs, and RFPs to determine labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Engage subcontractors early, issue RFPs, and evaluate proposals using Best Value templates.
• Collaborate with scheduling to define milestone dates, critical path, and durations.
• Maintain rigorous document control across pursuit folders and review documentation.
• Conduct constructability and QA reviews; perform risk analysis and maintain risk registry.
