Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for high voltage transmission line projects, review drawings, and collaborate with project managers to secure optimal bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, specifically in construction.
• Proven experience with EHV transmission lines and transmission construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and blueprints to determine scope, cost, materials and labor.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to gather information.
• Analyze suppliers and contractors to secure cost-effective deals.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and track project costs.
