Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership for Power sector projects within the Environmental Services team. The role covers design, permitting, and project delivery across the Mid-Atlantic with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and client stewardship.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar senior role.
• Professional Licensure (P.E.) in NC, SC, VA, WV, MD desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication; proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Sr. Project Manager or Technical Lead for Power Sector projects.
• Plan, organize and manage production of deliverables on time and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership for projects in Virginia and Mid-Atlantic.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses.
• Oversee permit applications and environmental compliance.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and teams.
• Support HSSE policies and client relations.
