Job summary

HireRight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and extend our Microsoft Power Platform-based automation platform in a hybrid Nashville, TN office. You will work on production-ready flows, Dataverse integration, and evolving a shared pattern library, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable automation.

The role emphasizes queue-based processing, no-code/low-code vs pro-code decisions, and strong engineering discipline to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Proven depth in workflow automation with Power Automate in production.
• Experience with Dataverse as an application platform (schema, security, business events).
• Strong C#/.NET development experience, including Dataverse plugin development.
• Designing with queue-based asynchronous patterns; know when to use RPA vs API.

Responsibilities

• Own the deep engineering on our automation platform and extend cloud/desktop flows.
• Maintain separation between desktop flows and cloud orchestration/data logic.
• Grow the event-driven model and shared pattern library.
• Improve reliability via logging, retries, and proper error handling.
• Prioritize security as a first-class concern across the platform.
