Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and data modeling to design and implement business solutions across enterprise applications.

You will architect data workflows, customize modules, and drive data integration and analytics initiatives. The role focuses on building scalable, secure solutions using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365, with emphasis on data integrity and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development.
• Expert level experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong data modeling skills including relational and dimensional data models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Customize, configure, and extend Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs across applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs and scalable solutions.
• Implement integration solutions between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware tools.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Create technical documentation, conduct training sessions, and provide support for implemented solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, agile development processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
