Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer II to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft business applications across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. The role blends hands-on development with architectural leadership and consultative client engagement.

You will translate business goals into scalable designs, lead delivery, mentor teammates, and evaluate Copilot AI and related technologies to drive measurable business value for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Active or ability to obtain PL-400 certification within onboarding period.
• PL-901 or equivalent foundational Power Platform knowledge is required.
• Experience with architecture and delivery of Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Microsoft solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable designs and timelines.
• Lead hands-on development across Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure quality, security and performance.
• Support presales, discovery, estimation, and solution design activities.
• Mentor consultants and developers to improve delivery standards.
