Job summary
Alliant Energy Corporation seeks an experienced maintenance engineer for the Columbia generating station in Wisconsin. The role focuses on balance of plant equipment, trouble shooting, and leading projects from scope to completion with on-site contractor management.
You will perform inspections, health assessments, and ensure compliance with codes and standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least 7 years of related experience, with strong skills in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering program accredited by the EAC.
- 7 years of related maintenance or engineering experience.
- Proven project management and subcontractor coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot faults and provide technical direction for plant equipment.
- Lead projects from scoping through execution, including on-site contractor management.
- Perform equipment inspections and health assessments to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop cost-effective, technically sound recommendations with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare technical studies and project documentation for future reference.
