Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent; field experience accepted
• 10 years of power plant experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience; leadership skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Align plant personnel and objectives with client requirements.
• Administer safety, operations, NERC compliance, maintenance, training, QA/QC programs for safe, efficient operation.
• Oversee planned and unplanned plant outages.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Review policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct hiring and onboarding of new personnel as needed.
• Ensure certifications of operation and maintenance staff remain current.
• Maintain morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Prepare client and utility reports, budgets and environmental compliance reports.
