Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to direct all O&M activities at a California plant in Victorville. The role ensures adequate manpower, tools, and spare parts for safe, compliant operation of the plant and its power generation facilities.

You will align personnel with client requirements, administer safety, environmental and QA/QC programs, and oversee outages while driving training programs and policy updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent; substitution allowed year-for-year.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years of experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Gas turbine experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Align plant personnel and objectives with client requirements.
• Administer safety, operations, NERC compliance, maintenance, QA/QC programs to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Oversee planned and unplanned outages and maintenance activities.
• Implement training and qualification programs to ensure proper procedures.
• Review plant policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel.
• Verify certification status of operation and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain morale and motivation of plant staff at high levels.
• Oversee preparation of client and utility reports, budgets and environmental compliance reports.
