Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Victorville, CA seeks a Plant Manager to direct all Operations and Maintenance activities at the plant. You will ensure adequate manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts are available to provide for the safe and efficient operation of the plant, while complying with safety, environmental, and power generating requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience over technical and administrative personnel.
• Preferred: gas turbine experience.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Align plant personnel and objectives with client requirements.
• Administer safety, operations, NERC compliance, maintenance, QA/QC, and training programs.
• Manage planned and unplanned plant outages.
• Implement training and qualification programs for staff.
• Review plant policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct recruitment and onboarding of new personnel.
• Verify certification status of operations and maintenance staff.
• Maintain high morale among plant personnel.
• Prepare client and utility reports, budgets, and compliance documentation.
