Job summary

Professional Management Advisors Associates, Inc. (PMAA, Inc.) is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a large power generation facility in Queens, NY.

The role oversees maintenance execution, planning, budgeting, outage management, and supervisor leadership, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations in a union environment. On-site, extended hours may apply during outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent training and substantial power plant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in power plant operations and/or maintenance.
• Experience leading maintenance organizations and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of conventional steam generation, boilers, turbines, controllers.
• Experience with EAM/CMMS systems.
• Experience managing outages and budgets.
• Union plant environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance for a large-scale facility.
• Direct maintenance supervisors and planning resources.
• Allocate resources for safe, reliable operations.
• Conduct field inspections and address issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance execution.
