Qualifikationen

• Journeyman I&C Technician certification required.
• 5-7 years of Power Plant I&C experience in electronics, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration.
• Valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection.
• Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain protective relays, metering, monitoring, and control systems on boilers, turbines, generators, and plant auxiliary equipment.
• Reads and interprets plant P&ID's and CWD's to locate and repair systems.
• Uses test equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot and maintain devices and systems.
• Document work orders, calibration sheets, and time cards in system records.
• Collaborates with apprentice I&C technicians to teach safe tool use and procedures.
