NRG Energy in Deer Park, TX, seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation and control systems supporting safe, reliable operation. The role covers outages, startups, testing and commissioning in a power generation facility.

The ideal candidate will diagnose electrical, instrumentation and process-control systems, read P&IDs, and coordinate with operations and vendors.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in power generation or a related industrial environment.
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop sheets, schematics and control wiring diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant instrumentation, control systems and related electrical equipment.
• Calibrate and repair instrumentation and control valves, actuators and positioners.
• Support DCS, CEMS, flame scanners, and turbine/HRSG controls.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and vendor manuals.
• Prepare and execute LOTO packages for startups, outages and testing.
• Keep calibration records and coordinate with operations, contractors and vendors.
