Job summary

Quest Global in Longmont, CO is seeking a Senior Controls Hardware engineer with strong DCS/GT/ST experience for power plant cabinet design and integration. You will lead the design, development, and support of control panels, ensuring robust power distribution and safe operation.

The role requires 3+ years in control systems, familiarity with DCS/PLC, and CAD tools. On-site in Longmont, travel may be required for FAT/SAT and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and integrating control systems with DCS/PLC/GT/ST platforms.
• Experience with BOP cabinet systems and power distribution.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity for industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with IEC/ISO safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect control panels and cabinets for DCS/BOP/GT/ST integration.
• Integrate components and ensure reliable communication across systems.
• Lead technical ownership of project deliverables and schedules.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during design, testing, and commissioning.
• Create and maintain system design documents and manuals.
• Provide engineering support during FAT, SAT, installation, and troubleshooting.
