Job summary

PD Power Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical and control systems for power generation and distribution. You will collaborate with Mechanical Designers to integrate controls and ensure robust electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system integration.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on electrical/controls experience or 15+ years with a 2-year degree, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Travel up to 20% and ability to obtain U.S.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience.
• Education: 2-year technical college degree/military experience with 15+ years of electrical and controls design/drawing experience.
• Experience designing electrical control systems and power generation and distribution systems.
• Prototype builds, production builds, schematic designs, and troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues.
• Knowledge of 120/208V low voltage through 15kV medium voltage.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and maintain electrical schematics, panel diagrams, cable assemblies, and wiring drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Create, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Source components based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering team and suppliers/vendors to develop the product.
