Qualifications

• Seven years of experience as a Control Room Operator or Plant Tech Operator in power plant operations.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Environmental, Health, Safety documents and procedures.
• Ability to read drawings and technical manuals and utilize them in daily work.
• Strong communications skills and proficient in Office software.
• Maintain a current Oregon driver’s license and write technical papers with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise power generation equipment safely and in compliance with permits and regulations.
• Lead watch duties and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor plant operations staff and support safety programs.
• Analyze plant conditions, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment as needed.
• Oversee water treatment facilities and monitor lab results for compliance.
• Coordinate vendor activity and supervise contractors for outages and work.
