The role requires strong PC skills and experience with plant control systems; a PTO/SPTO background with 500+ hours is essential, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience as a Control Room Operator or Plant Tech Operator in power plant operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required; AS/BS preferred.
• Ability to read and follow EH&S documents, drawings, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate SPTO and PTO duties for 500+ hours.
• Lead watch teams and supervise on-watch technicians.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and plant operations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor emissions, water treatment, and environmental reporting.
• Mentor and train operations staff and coordinate with external resources.
