Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Senior Power and Performance Architect to influence and drive next generation power features from architecture to market. You will collaborate with silicon, software, and operations teams on power management and performance optimization.

Requirements include 15+ years in silicon/power, MS/PhD in engineering, and experience with CPU/GPU/SoC, silicon bring-up, and offshore teams. Base salary range is 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD, plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in EE, CE, CS, or Systems Engineering.
• 15+ years in silicon and product power and power management.
• Expertise in silicon power, transistor physics, power modeling and measurement.
• Background with system level features, product binning methods, optimization techniques, data analysis methods.
• Experience in product level power and performance analysis; datacenter market preferred.
• Familiarity with silicon bring-up and validation, frequency and power characterization, post-silicon experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, partnership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with offshore teams is required.
• Exposure to CPU/GPU/SoC architecture and HW-SW co-design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect next generation power management features and solutions across system architecture and productization.
• Evaluate industry direction and identify opportunities and challenges to drive roadmap.
• Drive system-level power optimizations across silicon, platform, software, manufacturing, and product systems.
• Lead the team for power feature requirements and schedule from architecture to silicon phase.
• Develop methodologies for power modeling and measurement and correlate silicon behavior with simulations.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams across the company to bring industry-defining products to market.
