Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Power and Performance Architect to shape next-generation power management features from system architecture to product delivery. You will collaborate across silicon teams, software, marketing, and operations to bring market-ready solutions for data center and client devices.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in silicon power, power modeling and measurement, with strong analytical and cross-functional skills. Equity and benefits are offered, and relocation may be available.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in silicon and product power and power management.
  • Expertise in silicon power, transistor/device physics, power modeling and measurement.
  • Background with system-level features, optimization techniques and data analysis.
  • Experience in product-level power and performance analysis and optimization.
  • Familiarity with silicon bringup/validation and post-silicon characterization.
  • Excellent problem solving, partnership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with offshore teams is required.
  • Exposure to CPU/GPU/SoC architecture and HW-SW co-design is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Architect next generation power management features and solutions across system architecture, design, and productization.
  • Evaluate industry direction to identify opportunities and drive the future roadmap for power management.
  • Drive system-level power optimizations across silicon, platform, software, manufacturing and products.
  • Lead the team for power feature requirements and schedules from architecture to silicon.
  • Develop methodologies for power modeling, measurement, and analysis, correlating silicon with simulations.
  • Collaborate with system architects, designers, marketing, chip/board designers, software/firmware engineers and others to bring products to market.
