Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Sr. Field Applications Engineer to serve as the technical liaison for key accounts, driving design wins with MPS multiphase, high-current DC-DC solutions.

You will provide hands-on support, review schematics and PCB layouts, and translate customer needs into product positioning. Travel locally to customer sites and labs as needed; English communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years of power management and analog systems experience.
• Hands-on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
• Experience with multiphase, Intel and/or AMD VR requirements and specifications preferred.
• Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, written and oral.
• Oral/written proficiency in English.
• Willing to drive to local customers and spend time in lab as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical support to customers to meet or improve upon their requirements with MPS products, specifically multiphase, high current DC-DC.
• Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
• Gather potential market moves and competitors’ activities for MPS product strategy.
