Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a senior Power Management engineer to drive design-in activities and support tier‑1 customer designs.

You will collaborate with product definition, marketing, and field teams to define next‑gen DC‑DC and multiphase power solutions, while leading simulations, testing, and documentation. You will apply deep knowledge of DC/DC topologies and control loops to deliver robust solutions, with hands-on PCB reviews, software tool usage, and direct customer engagement

Qualifications

• Strong background in power management ICs, MOSFETs, regulation loops, and multi‑phase bucking systems.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout reviews for evaluation boards and customer designs.
• Proficiency with Python or C; familiarity with lab automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-in activities and power tree architecture for customers.
• Contribute to product definition based on technical requirements and market needs.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout reviews for evaluation boards and customer designs.
• Develop and execute simulations of power converter circuits.
• Author technical documentation and design guidelines for customers.
• Provide technical training to FAEs and customer engineers.
• Offer on-site and remote technical support, root-cause analysis, and debugging.
• Conduct competitive market research to support marketing initiatives.
• Develop a system-level understanding of customer applications to guide new products.
