Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to join the Performance Core Power team. You will bridge customer systems, power architecture and semiconductor development to translate requirements into differentiated voltage-regulation solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years in power electronics, power-management semiconductors, or related product development.
Experience translating system or customer requirements into engineering specifications.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Understand system-level power requirements with customers and internal teams.
Translate requirements into product specifications and use cases.
Contribute to voltage-regulator architecture for CPU/GPU/ASIC platforms.
Collaborate with IC design, systems, firmware, validation and marketing teams.
Develop and maintain product requirements, system specs and API documentation.
Support analysis, modeling and evaluation of new product concepts.
