Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to join the Performance Core Power team. The role bridges customer systems, power architecture and semiconductor product development to translate processor and datacenter requirements into differentiated power-management solutions.

You will work with engineering, applications, marketing, validation and customer teams to translate system-level power requirements into product and design requirements for next-generation voltage-regulation

Qualifications

5+ years in power electronics or related product development.
Experience translating system/customer requirements into technical specifications.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

Understand system-level power challenges and translate them into product specs and use cases.
Contribute to voltage-regulator architecture and product definition for high-performance platforms.
Collaborate with IC design, systems, firmware, validation and marketing teams to evaluate trade-offs and schedules.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including requirements and interface specifications.
Support analysis, modeling and evaluation of new product concepts.
