Duke Energy in North Carolina seeks a Senior Construction Manager to oversee Power Grid Operations construction, maintenance, and restoration efforts across projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure work is performed per Duke Energy's standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in engineering technology or construction management and related work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate across teams.
• Experience with utility construction standards and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Manage construction resources and oversight activities related to site safety, environmental adherence, construction standards, NERC/CIP, work authorization/clearance, appropriate construction techniques.
• Participate in constructability reviews; assist with design issue resolution with Transmission engineering.
• Develop construction resource sequence plans and manage progress to meet schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate material management, commissioning, and turnover to maintenance teams.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and maintain project documentation and action registers.
