Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (II) in Raleigh, NC to ensure DI equipment installations are completed safely, on time, and within budget and specifications.

You will handle project initiation, procurement oversight, budget and schedule control, and project closeout. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, coordinating permitting and interconnection with utilities, mentoring junior staff, and driving process improvements across project execution.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 6+ years in energy/construction.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets >$5M.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
• Knowledge of permitting processes and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites per standards and regs.
• Lead complex, multi-phase projects with strategic importance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Develop and implement risk management plans and contingency strategies.
• Oversee project portfolio performance metrics and report to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes.
• Lead post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Support proposals and client presentations.
• Mentor junior project staff.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to optimize resources.
• Lead permitting and interconnection coordination with utilities.
